Neighborhood Walk: Tree Policy and Urban Design

Join the Tacoma Tree Foundation, Tacoma Climate Leadership Cohort members, and partners on a short walk where we will explore opportunities to get involved with civic engagement on policy and planning issues related to trees, climate resiliency, and urban design, including the the Picture Pac Ave project, and neighborhood greening activities like the kind happening on Green Tacoma Day.

We will meet at the tree planting site that was made possible through a collaboration between TTF, South End Neighborhood Council, and Pierce County District.

Time: We will meet at 3PM and walk and hear from partner organizations approximately until 4:30PM.

Meeting point: S. 74TH ST and D ST (behind Fred Meyer)
