Last November we held a Haiku Comics workshop to celebrate the connection between nature, art, and music. After a mindfulness walk through Wright Park, participants created haiku depicting the different sights they saw, each bringing its own unique perspective to the world around us.

Now, everyone is welcome to attend Sky and Stone. A performance by @nwsinfonietta that brings the great outdoors inside a concert hall. This innovative and collaborative program opens with a newly commissioned piece by NWS clarinetist Angelique Poteat, inspired by the famous Chuckanut Formation near Bellingham, Washington; followed by Rautavaara's concerto for birdsong and orchestra, Cantus Arcticus, and Beethoven's pastoral Symphony No. 6.
