Join us for the official launch of Canopy Quest: Tacoma Tree Foundation’s in-house designed and produced board game! Come celebrate, play, watch, and learn about how trees get chosen for our urban spaces and their relationship to utilities and human-made structures.
Players must collaborate to achieve the highest percentage of tree canopy coverage for their neighborhood and navigate challenges with utilities, buildings, space, weather, and community goals. In greening your neighborhood, witness the health, environmental, and social benefits of trees while growing closer with your neighbors.
Canopy Quest is a multi-generational, accessible, and sensory-focused game modeled around the City of Tacoma’s planting guidelines. It accommodates up to 4 players at a time. Multiple sets of the game will be available.
Eden Standley, board game creator, will host the event and be available for questions and discussion!
