Come wonder at trees this winter with Sarah Low! Bare trees give us a chance to learn about tree shapes, and evergreens teach us a lot about how trees survive in cold and warm weather. We’ll also learn about seeds, bark, and more! Bring your layers and water resistant shoes, and come join the winter fun!
Please dress comfortably and according to the weather forecast. Consider bringing rain gear, warm layers, and waterproof shoes. Our walks happen rain or shine. We will be walking over paved and grassy park terrain.
This location is accessible by Pierce Transit bus on Route 48 Sheridan – M St. and Route 45 Yakima at the Thompson Ave & S 37th St stops.
