Did you know each tree species has a unique root system? At this workshop we will learn about the root systems of three different native trees and create fabric art patches exploring how they grow! Embroider roots over a block print stamp made by artist and workshop facilitator Dan Nakamura. Participants will be provided with a small embroidery kit to take home so the learning can continue! Attendees can bring a piece of clothing or fabric to embroider the patch onto directly or just embroider on the patch we will be providing. This event is designed for adults and kids of all ages and, and anyone and everyone is welcome to join!
