Growing Trees and Community

  • Summit Pierce County Library 5107 112th Street East Tacoma, WA, 98446 United States (map)

What do trees do for us? What can we do to support trees and each other amidst the pressures of climate change and rapid development in our region? In this presentation, we will explain why the Puget Sound region's urban forest needs our support, and how the Tacoma Tree Foundation is working with communities to increase tree canopy and access to environmental health and education. We will share opportunities to volunteer, walk with us, and get involved in supporting trees and people in your community!
