Do you care about trees in Tacoma?

Do you want to help support the tree canopy?

You will learn about: Tacoma’s Unfair Forest, introductory community forestry concepts, and gain skills in communicating with neighbors about their trees and how to engage in neighborhood planting efforts.

Cost: FREE

Capacity: Up to 20 tree stewards will receive the skills they need to take local actions and engage with their communities about sustainability and stewardship. Snacks, light refreshments and lunch will be provided. 

Apply by January 25th, an acceptance email with more details will be sent by January 26th. Applications from Hilltop residents and Tacoma Frontline Communities will be prioritized.
