Spring Awakenings

  • Tacoma Public Library - Fern Hill Branch 765 South 84th Street Tacoma, WA, 98408 United States (map)

After a long winter, it's time to awaken to spring's sounds, sights, smells, and sensations. In this talk, Sarah Low will help us understand how trees come out of dormancy, what happens as they and other plants start blooming, how wildlife responds, birds begin nesting, and what to look for as we spend more time outdoors. Join us, let your senses awaken from their wintery nap, and get excited to welcome spring!

This program is possible with the support of Tacoma Creates. This talk will be offered as a hybrid event. To join virtually, please register through our calendar.

  • This event space is wheelchair accessible. There are ADA parking stalls in the parking lot. This location is accessible by Pierce Transit bus on Route 45 Yakima at the 84th St stop.
