South End Neighborhood Walk

  • Mann Elementary School 1002 South 52nd Street Tacoma, WA United States (map)

Witness the magic of newly planted trees! During our time together, we will walk the South End neighborhood alongside Sarah Low and witness a planting event as it happens! Sarah will teach us about the trees that are being planted, the great benefits they will bring to the South End, and what they will need to reach maturity. As we see what community planting looks like in action, we’ll consider the importance of supporting access to trees and green spaces in Tacoma. Join us for this fun and unique walk!
