Teruko Nimura’s Wasteland Dreams

Join local artist and current Environmental Services Artist in Residence, Teruko Nimura, to consider the volume and scale of our waste, and the labor that goes into making the immeasurable objects that we throw away every day. Nimura will be presenting on her ongoing work three-part artwork, Wasteland Dreams, which includes the pieces: “Entangled,” “Extended Family Table,” and “Upstream Together.” These three artworks express some of the problems we face regarding our solid waste by using common, everyday materials reclaimed from our waste stream, and raise awareness of our shared environmental dilemma.
