Trees for Justive and the Legacy of Nettie J Ashberry

Join us for a day of music, food, and learning about Tacoma's past, present, and future! The Tacoma Association of Colored Women's Clubs, the Institute for Black Justice, and Tacoma Tree Foundation will share about connections of community, environment, and social justice in Tacoma. Activities will include a tree planting demonstration at the historic former home of Dr. Nettie J. Asberry, a quilting demonstration as well as a tree share where folks can take plants home to add some green to their neighborhoods.
