Botanical Wonders of Point Defiance Park

A cool, wet May means there are lots of interesting plants in bloom in June.  Come walk with Romey Haberle and look for botanical surprises and treasures (and maybe spot some noxious weeds) on the windward side of Pt Defiance. 

  • Capped at 12.

  • Expect to walk 2-4 miles on trail and pavement, depending on the group's pace.

  • Meeting Point: Fort Nisqually parking lot, we'll meet on the N side of picnic area (refer to map below for meeting point.
